Okay for guys: picking up the bill. fellas, don't be a cheapskate...you asked a lady out to dinner or a movie it is your gentlemanly duty to pay for the date. The fact that a girl even said yes to going out with your goofy ass should consider it a blessing. I have plenty of female friends who have horror stories about first dates where the guys will "forget their wallets", whose cards were rejected, I even know a poor girl who got asked for gas money. Are you fucking serious?! Now, if you never want to see this girl again or have a chance with her friends by all means...ask for gas money...but be the gentleman and pick up the tab....now just like all other aspects of your finances, please live within your means don't take the girl to Ruth Chris when your ass can't afford to supersize the value meal...most women will understand that you’re not Donald Trump and would be perfectly happy with stonecold ice cream and a movie.
Not okay for guys: well two things are not okay for guys: guys who pay for absolutely everything thinking they could buy these girls, or guys who don’t pay for shit and think they can seriously make it on their looks and charm…fuck both those guys!!!
I got a couple of friends that think it’s okay to be broke and depend on their girlfriend’s to pay for everything…and I do admit that times are tough, the economy is a clusterfuck, and plenty of guys are out of jobs....so it is okay to be broke...temporarily…but that shit get’s old fast so you better lace up those fucking boots and get to work…and if a girl is cool with supporting your lazy ass she’s an idiot
Now there’s the other group of guys….I saw more of these guys in highschool (in college everyone’s broke as shit and I hung out with more drug dealers while attending South Mountain High School). These guys show off their money because they have little to nothing to offer the opposite sex besides that, kind of like the dude who buys a strange girl a drink at a bar and stalls out there…fuck that…don’t be that guy...and if that girl is looking for that type of dude she’s the fucking devil…
